Foster Moore recently visited the Ministry of Commerce in Cambodia, where our account director met with senior leaders and registry professionals dedicated to strengthening the nation’s companies register and advancing public-sector digital services.
Over two days of meetings, Sumit Poddar, Account Director at Foster Moore, met with representatives from the Business Registration Department, the Planning, Trade, and Statistics Information team, and the Ministry’s IT leadership. The discussions provided valuable insight into the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to modernise key government systems and enhance the services available to Cambodian citizens and businesses.
The Ministry of Commerce continues to demonstrate a commendable commitment to operational excellence and digital transformation. Their registry teams showcased a strong understanding of the business registration lifecycle and a forward-looking approach to improving data management, reporting capabilities, and service delivery. These conversations also highlighted opportunities for future collaboration to improve processes and information exchange across government platforms.
Foster Moore was especially impressed by the Ministry’s internal capability and the clear vision guiding their modernisation journey. Their proactive leadership, technical expertise, and dedication to continuous improvement reflect a strong foundation for the next phase of digital government in Cambodia.
