Agnese Abelite is the Product Management Lead at Foster Moore, where she brings more than a decade of registry expertise gained at the New Zealand Companies Office. She is passionate about designing and delivering innovative registry solutions that modernise systems globally and elevate user experiences.

Agnese is a curious product leader guided by the voices of registry users. She values the stories of those who work with registers daily, whether government staff or members of the public, and is committed to making their experience as seamless as possible. For her, registries are not only critical economic enablers but also human-centred systems that should never lose sight of the people behind them.

As Stakeholder and Business Lead for the New Zealand Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) 2018 replacement, she oversaw extensive stakeholder engagement and led a milestone go-live supporting a large API community and over 10,000 website users. The launch was widely regarded as a major success, and Agnese’s guiding motto was always that “no one is left behind.” This project also marked the beginning of her enduring connection with Foster Moore.

Since joining Foster Moore, Agnese has embraced her role as a bridge between government and private-sector innovation. She combines legislative insight, empathy for users, and strategic leadership to build trusted, flexible registry solutions. Looking ahead, she sees the future of registries grounded in verification, robust APIs, close policy–technology collaboration, and the emerging possibilities of AI.
